In the frontal impact the head and neck of driver and passenger were well protected. The driver’s chest showed marginal protection from the restraint systems. There were hazardous structures in the area of the facia that could be impacted by the driver and front passenger’s knees. The vehicle cell was rated as stable during the impact.

The child seat for the 3 year old child was able to prevent just excessive forward movement during the impact and offered fair protection to neck and chest. The dynamic performance of the 18 months child restraint was adequate. Most of the CRS that were assessed for installation failed. The car have a warning marking for installing a CRS but it was it did not meet Latin NCAP’s requirements. The car offered the possibility to disconnect the passenger airbag.
