The passengers’ knees could impact with dangerous structures in the dashboard lie the Tran fascia tube. The bodyshell was rated as unstable. The car manufacturer did not recommend CRS, so Latin NCAP selected ones from the reference list, as a consequence the car received zero dynamic points . Child seat for the 3 year old child was unable to prevent excessive forward movement during the impact. The dynamic performance of the 18 months child restraint was adequate. In both cases explained by the low deceleration caused by the structure collapse in the front. Most of the CRS that were tested for installation failed. The seatbelt of the rear seatbelts were a problem to properly install the CRS.
