COMMENTS:
In the frontal impact the driver and passenger heads and chests were well protected by the driver and passenger airbags. The driver knee airbag improved knee protection. Both seatbelts were equipped with pretensioners and load limiters. The passengers knees areas did not show high risk structures. The bodyshell was rated as stable and was capable of withstanding further loading. The model could meet the requirements of the UN95 side impact test.
